The Iowa Enduro Riders Association is a group of smaller clubs from throughout Iowa and some from surrounding states that formed together to sanction enduro and hare scramble races throughout the area.

By joining together to define rules and racing classes, the clubs keep things consistent race to race around the state. The I.E.R.A. races are sanctioned by the AMA (American Motorcyclist Association) and we were associated with AMA District 22 until the end of 2007. For 2008 and beyond the IERA has decided to seperate from District 22 because we feel we could offer more to the riders and better manage our affairs.

All racers must be a member of the AMA to race an event and AMA & IERA signup will be available at each event.
