NO DUST ANYWHERE! RACE IS A GO! PERFECT CONDITIONS. Everything is looking great for the Dirt fest weekend at Maquoketa, IA. It looks like we should have a 10+ mile loop with a combination of hills, tight timber, rolling pastures, hay fields, corn fields, shallow creek crossings and a state of the art EnduroCross track complete with all of the cool stuff that makes EnduroCross fun. Only the AA, A and B riders will ride the EnduroCross course. The C and Super Senior will not. We are trying very hard to make it fun for every riding skill level. This 2 day Dirt fest will consist of the following events; Sunday, Round 5 of the Rekluse Mississippi River Championship Series (RMRCS), Round 9 of the District 22 IERA Hare Scramble Series. I want to thank the land owners Tom, Linda and Josh Bergfeld for working so hard to provide us with this awesome riding area. I hope to see all of you at the race having a great time!

Race Description

It is a mixture of tight enduro trail, bluffs, elevation changes, scenic 2 track, enduro cross, corn fields, rocky hill climbs and somewhat steep descents with even some shallow rocky water crossings, the famous Bergquist ESCAROT (spiral). Beautiful woods, pasture, hills and logs. The course is currently 10 miles long and this is Round 5 of the Rekluse Mississippi River Championship Series. The C class and Super Senior will ride a long fun course for maximum enjoyment. If you have followed the 8 race series so far you have experienced some of the most awesome courses in the country. We will not disappoint you at round 5. Registration starts at 8am and the Quads start at 10am, 50's start at 10am, 65's & 80's start at 9am, AA A & B classes will race on a different course than the C class and Super Senior class. The AA, A and B course will include the EnduroCross course, but Super Senior & C classes will run an easier version of the course and will not ride the EnduroCross course. This should make it fun for everyone. If you want a nice challenging course ride AA A or B but if you are still a novice that just wants to have fun then ride Super Senior or C class. FREE ICE CREAM to all finishers! There will be a FREE Enduro Pilot demo ride on Saturday before the race along with a special PRO-Action of KC suspension seminar on the November 15th event only with host Ben Decker to educate us about how to set up our suspension.
