Re: Memphis, parents with kid riders ...

Kids can certainly race but after that pit riding is generally not allowed.

Morrison

The rules require results to be mailed to me within 14 days of the event. That was yesterday, so hopefully we'll have something shortly. Either way, we'll certainly try to have the results posted prior to New Hartford.

Morrison

The race at that location last year was a lot of fun once it got rolling. Very good terrain and a fun hero/zero option that made for great spectating. The map on our iera22.com hare scramble schedule link will get you to the correct location. http://iera22.com/club_info.php?raceloc=278 And ditto the...

Dayton!

After running hare scramble after hare scramble, you get soft and forget how challenging truly technical enduro can be. Dayton was an absolute blast from start to finish. Also well run and organized by CIER. I will say the butt-pucker down hills were misleading only in that there were some scarier d...

Re: Can 65's run the enduro?

ben miller wrote:Just wondering if 65's are allowed to run the enduro with me. If not, what about 85's?

Ben - see my prior post. Sounds like 85s can run, but not 65s.

Thanks - Eric

Fremont Enduro and mini participants

I have been fielding questions about mini riders participating in the Saturday enduro at Fremont. So I checked with Mark Neff of TSER. Ordinarily enduros with road sections required properly licensed riders (per AMA and IERA rules). As this is a closed course enduro, that is not an issue. Mark will ...

Rain or Shine

I just spoke to Chris Mumm of The Hillblazers who indicated that this race will run rain or shine. The course/area can take a lot of rain and hold together. That said, extreme weather conditions could always cause a cancellation, but mere rain won't.

Mini-cycles

The IERA rules place no restrictions on the ability of a rider to use a "mini-cycles" in the C class. The "C" Class is comprised of "All ages and engine displacements." So the rules do no prohibit running "mini-cycles" in the C class right along with adult rid...
