Re: scoring

With all the issues and cost over the years of seeveral electronic scoring systems, not to mention the cost of transporting the equipment and purchasing a trailer, maybe it's time for an organization as small as the IERA to take a step back and decide where the priorities should be.

Re: IERA Electronic Scoring Contractor Opening

Speaking of race results I don't see any after June 4. Am I looking in the wrong place or they not posted after June 4?

Re: Spectator Involvement is getting a little out of hand...

I remember the wet year at Hills. There were 3 girls on a dry spot in the middle of a creek. They couldn't believe I was aiming at them. They moved!!

Re: Scoring at the ICCR Keithsburg race, March 12 2017

Electronic scoring is great when it works but there have been so many issues over the years maybe it's time to rethink. Not to mention the $5+ cost to each rider for each event. We used score cards (we were the first in Iowa) for 20 years and had no conflicts or disputes. Yes I caught a couple rider...

Anybody remember the Bartlett enduro when the spectators broke the beaver dam? First lap was a very small creek crossing. Second lap was a lake!

Re: Scoring results

You mean the one that went from 9th to 2nd overall on the last by turning a 11min 39sec lap! Didn't notice anybody else get below 14min.
